How do I manage employee access to our company's Ironwear account?

Registered, logged-in company administrators are authorized to manage company employees using the Team page. Designed to help you optimize company purchasing, the Team page allows you to add, remove, and edit employees. You can also manage each team member’s roles, allowing or blocking permissions to place orders, access billing, and more.

Each team member (employee) has an assigned a role that determines what they can view and configure when they’re logged into their Ironwear account. User roles with unique permissions to support specific workflows for buyers.

By default, the following team roles are available (expand each for role details):

 

Admin

Admins have full control over the company location and team. This role is ideal for individuals responsible for overseeing and maintaining the entire company location.

Admins can

  • Add, remove, and edit all other team members
  • Manage business addresses
  • Approve, reject, and create Shopping Lists submitted by other team members
  • Place orders directly on the storefront
Senior buyer

This role is ideal for managers, team leads, or employees who regularly make purchases or supervise purchasing activities within the company location.

Senior buyers can

  • Approve Shopping Lists submitted by other team members or create their own
  • Place orders directly on the storefront
Junior buyer

This role is ideal for employees who need approval before making business purchases.

Junior buyers

  • Can submit Shopping Lists for approval
  • Cannot complete purchases independently
Account payable

This role is ideal for employees who require access to order history, shipping and billing addresses, and shopping lists for all employees.

View only

This role is ideal for team members who require access to view custom company pricing and shopping lists.

Custom roles
